Rental of the whole island to one group ensures you have total privacy and the complete attention from the highly experienced staff. Over Yonder Cay primarily operates on power provided by a hybrid renewable energy system, which includes three wind turbines and a 1.5-acre solar field.

Can you imagine an ending ocean vista of exquisite blue green waters and uninhabited white sand beaches stretching to infinity which invite you to relax or take a spin on the jet skis or an incredible grotto that offers a chance to snorkel with schools of stunning multicolored tropical fish? I spent one of the most fabulous weekends of my life on this superlative 72 acre private island retreat. Totally sustainable with its own wind, solar, and water purification systems. This beautifully developed island supports a staff of 30, just a 45 minute sea plane ride from Nassau. It sleeps 20 guests or more in its four private contemporary villas. The staff is ready to cater to your every whim with a chef that makes each meal pure heaven- delicious, organic, local, and sooo healthy! Did I mention the fine wines? What a selection! The many boats, all the amenities, the huge private theater where I watched a first run movie and the spectacular sunsets all contribute to make this paradise indescribable. One of my favorite excursions, past Johnny Depp’s private island, in the wonderful Jupiter boat, was to a small nearby undeveloped island with a long white sandbar. You can stroll at your leisure or just float in the unbelievable shallow warm waters of this magical place. Tennis, Volleyball, Fishing or Golf anyone? Nine beautiful holes overlooking the shimmering ocean! You may be wondering about the swimming pigs? A couple were dropped on an uninhabited island and they quickly multiplied (now 150) and they swim out to the boats for a bite- a great laugh! 28 feet and 19 feet crewed day sailors, crewed motorboats for exploring the area, scuba diving and snorkeling, bone fishing and deep sea fishing, kite surfing and windsurfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, wake boarding and water skiing, jet ski and underwater sea scooters.

Private jets can fly directly to Nassau or Great Exuma, and commercial flights operate daily from the US and Europe to Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau. Over Yonder Cay is located just 70 miles (110 kilometers) from Nassau and Great Exuma, both of which are just 30 minutes away by seaplane. Transfers from these two islands by seaplane can be accommodated.
