Venice Family Clinic at the Venice Art Walk

I have loved the Venice Art Walk since its inception 35 years ago as one of the great cultural and charitable events of our city. I have supported it over the years both as a volunteer and as a donor. This year I was a guest speaker at their special Trousdale tour where I mentioned that Paul Trousdale paid $6M to the Doheny family for the 400 acres that is now Trousdale in the early 1950s. He subsequently had it annexed into the city of Beverly Hills. Now we’re selling each house for more than $6M. The Venice Art Walk benefits the fabulous Venice Family Clinic which is one of the largest free clinics in the United States as fills a huge need for those without health coverage. Over the years, I have served on the advisory board of the clinic.

The Venice Family Clinic is celebrating its 35th anniversary with the Venice Art Walk & Auctions on May 18th. The event includes a 300+ piece Silent Art Auction, gourmet food trucks, bands, entertainers, arts & crafts and much more. It is free and open to the public. Special studio tours and exhibitions will be available for $50. All proceeds benefit the Venice Family Clinic. For more information, please visit: http://theveniceartwalk.org/.
