14 Dazzling Celebrity Bedrooms for the Ultimate Inspiration

A bedroom is an extremely intimate reflection of a person’s tastes, wants, and needs—and celebrity bedrooms are no exception

We look to celebrities for a lot: entertainment, distraction on social media, outfit ideas. But what can celebrity bedrooms reveal to us? A bedroom is an intimate space that reflects the things that most ground us, the atmosphere that we crave when we’re apart from everything else. Below, we’ve selected a few particularly dazzling celebrity bedrooms that have been featured on AD—which is your favorite?

Serena Williams

At Serena Williams’s Florida home, which she designed in collaboration with her sister Venus, a guest room offers visitors a retreat into a world of deep blue that mirrors the property’s vast pool.

Troye Sivan

Troye Sivan’s Flack Studio–designed Melbourne abode is flush with Isamu Noguchi’s Akari lamps and this guest room is no exception. Cork ceilings, carpet, and earthy tones all work together to create an ultra cozy space that’s calm without being devoid of personality.

Nina Dobrev

Nina Dobrev’s Charlie Barstein Interiors–designed Hollywood home is a refined bohemian-leaning wonderland and the primary bedroom is its crown jewel—or crown flower, perhaps. The space is simple enough without feeling quiet or detached from the property’s outdoor space.

Jason Statham

Jason Statham’s midcentury-modern home is all about the architecture of the building: The furnishings and decor are mostly lowkey so as not to pull focus. Interior designer Courtney Applebaum custom designed the bed and bedside table for this bedroom.

D’Angelo Russell

NBA star D’Angelo Russell is devoted to black-and-white, and while the rest of the Tiffany Thompson–designed home features rich textures like leather and lacquer, it was back to basics for the primary bedroom. We can only picture how cozy a night spent watching TV from this Hay couch would be!

Jared Padalecki

A vintage green linen Brenda Antin chaise helps make for a sitting area, which is accented by hand-stitched crewel curtains sourced from Chelsea Editions. The Padelecki family includes Jared, his wife Genevieve, three kids, plus numerous dogs, chickens, and mini horses, so we’d imagine most of their time isn’t spent hanging out in bed. Appropriately for the modern farmhouse, wood furnishings and a view of the outdoor space were prioritized.

Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber

Ashe + Leandro designed Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber’s former New York home from top to bottom, and for the primary bedroom they struck a balance between moody dark blues and whimsical accents, like those floral curtains and bright red vintage bench.

Julianna Margulies

Its easy to glean Julianna Margulies’s worldliness from the primary bedroom in her Vicente Wolf–designed New York City home. The mix of textures, abundant storage, and Eero Saarinen Womb Chair–adjacent street view all combine for a space that is utility-driven but no less stylish for it.

Shonda Rhimes

For a person as busy and productive as Shonda Rhimes, a bedroom that’s not at all overwhelming but still feels grand is of the utmost importance. The La Manufcature Cogolin rug pattern commands the bedroom in her New York City apartment designed by Stephen A. Smith, allowing a space that’s pleasing to the eye but plenty relaxing when it’s time to lounge in bed.

Shay Mitchell

The furnishings include a custom mohair-covered bed and a rug from Lawrence of La BreaPhoto: Jenna Peffley; Styling: Paige Wassel

As a new mom, it was of the utmost importance for Shay Mitchell’s bedroom to not only provide her with a truly restful space for herself, but a space for her baby to be close at hand too. We love the rich tone of brown she and designer Chad Wood chose for her mohair-covered bed (and it ties in perfectly with the wood accent of that bassinet).

Will Ferrell

Will Ferrell might be known for his goofiness, but the bedroom in his Shawn Henderson–designed New York apartment that AD toured showcases the more serious side of him that is just as instrumental to his success.

Jennifer Aniston

Wall-to-wall carpet skeptics, look away! Jennifer Aniston’s Stephen Shadley–designed LA home features not only wall-to-wall carpeting, but a carpeted platform below a wood bedframe too.

Hugh Jackman

The primary bedroom at Hugh Jackman’s Hamptons home, with its stark white bed, walls, cabinet, and curtains, is something of a cold plunge. Jackman’s wife Deborra-lee Furness designed the home with architect Viola Rouhani and interior designer Eleanor Donnelly, both of Stelle Lomont Rouhani Architects, after visiting the home they worked on for Calvin Klein.

Miley Cyrus

It should come as no surprise that this dramatically glitzy bedroom belongs to a pop star. Miley Cyrus wanted to go moody with the space, as she told her mom Tish Cyrus and her design partner Mat Sanders.
