And the winner is…
I love awards season. I love the films. I love the fashion. I love the red carpet buzz. It’s an exciting time in Hollywood and I try to see every major film so that I can weigh in with my opinion.

Sunday, January 19, 2020 (tonight!) – The 26th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards (click for the complete list of nominees), including the well-deserved SAG Life Achievement Award for career achievement and humanitarian accomplishment to Robert De Niro. Awards simulcast live on TNT and TBS at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time. #sagawards
Tuesday, January 28, 2020 – The 22nd Costume Designers Guild Awards, hosted by Mindy Kaling. 6:00 p.m. at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Not broadcast, but tickets may still be available. @costumeawards
Wednesday, January 29, 2020 – The 18th Visual Effects Society Awards, 5:30 p.m. at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Martin Scorsese will be honored with the VES Lifetime Achievement Award. Not broadcast and tickets are sold out (but there is a waiting list). @VisualEffectsSociety
Saturday, February 8, 2020 – The 35th Film Independent Spirit Awards hosted by Aubrey Plaza. The Spirit Awards are the primary fundraiser for Film Independent’s programs, which cultivate the careers of emerging filmmakers and promote diversity in the industry. Broadcast live exclusively on IFC at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time. @filmindependent
Sunday, February 9, 2020 – The 92nd Academy Awards (the Oscars), for the second year without a host but with plenty of pizzazz! Airs live on ABC at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time. #Oscars
