15th Annual Oscar Viewing Party for Children Uniting Nations

The 15th Annual Oscar Viewing Party for Children Uniting Nations is this Sunday, March 2nd, at the original Warner Bros Estate in Beverly Hills! This is always such a fabulous event that is so entertaining and, more so, for a really important cause. Some of the past guests include David Bowie, Tom & Rita Hanks, Susan Sarandon, Carly Simon, Halle Berry, Jane Seymour, Babyface, Prince, and the Black Eyed Peas! Children Uniting Nations (CUN) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality mentoring relationships for at-risk and foster youth. The organization strives to recruit and train community volunteers to help build self-esteem, life skills and improve educational outcomes for youth in at-risk communities.

CUN brings to the table private/public collaborative partnerships designed by highly regarded experts in the mentoring and foster care communities. Children Uniting Nations aims to pull our global communities together to come to the aid of our children most in need.

It was through this program that I met and mentored Desmond Graham, who was the first member of his family to graduate from high school and has since joined the Army.
