Consistently Ethical

There are a number of words we’d like to use to describe ourselves: honest, trustworthy, ethical. These traits are easy to boast about, but difficult to measure. So it is particularly meaningful when someone does measure these qualities and confirms what we’ve believed all along.

It was gratifying to read the President’s Message from Robert Foster, President, Greater Los Angeles Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, in the March 10 – March 16, 2018, issue of View. In his letter, Foster says, “I am proud and excited to share the news that Realogy, Coldwell Banker®/NRT LLC’s parent company, has been named one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies for the seventh year in a row by the Ethisphere Institute. This year, Realogy was among just 135 companies that met Ethisphere’s high standards.

“This outstanding validation of our hard work and dedication supporting our culture of ethics and integrity throughout the company is further evidence of what I know to be true: You can’t buy integrity. You cannot pretend to have integrity. You actually have to build it, and you actually have to live it. Our company has been doing this for years.”

The most ethical companies are innovators and leaders in their communities, making a contribution and treating people with dignity and respect.
