On The Drawing Board: Sunset Strip
It’s been a long time since Edd “Kookie” Burns wielded his comb at “77 Sunset Strip” but even if Dino’s Lodge hadn’t been razed in 2013, the neighborhood would hardly be recognizable. A recent post in Curbed Los Angeles lists some of the development plans currently on the drawing board for the Strip.
The structures include hotels, residential, office space, galleries, clubs, and restaurants, with plenty of starchitect power involved in the designs. A few are under construction; others are in various phases of discussion.
