Bad Luck Bagels at Homage Brewing — On Sunday, March 5, Bad Luck Bagels will operate out of the Chinatown location of Homage Brewing. Starting at 9:30 a.m., Bad Luck staff will be doing the most by rolling, proofing, boiling, and wood-firing bagels on-site. Vegan Banh Mi Thao and San & Wolves Filipino Bakeshop at Besties Vegan Paradise — This Friday, two plant-based pop-ups land at Bestie’s Vegan Paradise in East Hollywood. Vegan Banh Mi Thao’s menu includes grab-and-go banh mis and Vietnamese curry, while San & Wolves Filipino Bakeshop’s got vegan ube buns, pandan coconut chocolate cake, and a cassava cake with broiled coconut custard. A micheladas, tacos, and ice cream pop-up at Benny Boy Brewing — Benny Boy Brewing teamed up with local maker I Love Micheladas this Friday to kick off Women’s Month. Anytime between 7 p.m. and midnight, Quarantine Pizza Co. will crank out personal pies, with La Imperial Tortilleria on taco duty, and Latina-owned Sad Girl Creamery slinging ice cream while three DJs spin. Friday’s event is the official kick-off party for Regarding Her Food’s third annual festival which runs from March 3 to 12, designed to support and connect women-owned food and beverage businesses.

East Los Musubi and Chispi Modernista Cocina at Hello Stranger — East Los Musubi — the Wu-Tang musubi-themed pop-up — returns again this weekend, this time at the Hello Stranger Foundation in Little Tokyo. There’s also Mexican food from Chispi Modernista Cocina, drinks from Aguas Locas, and the Hello Stranger crew will host a full bar. For sweets, Madams Shugah’s got gluten-free/vegan goods, and Maski Pops By Adri prepped Rice Krispy Treats with a Wu-Tang album cover printed right on top.
