Keeping up with Bill Gates

I don’t know about you, but when I think of Bill Gates, the image that comes to mind is not a man curled up on the sofa with a book. Well, maybe the sofa is not his favorite spot, but wherever he sits, Bill Gates finds time to read about fifty books every year. A book a week is impressive, especially since most of the titles seem to be non-fiction.

If you follow the blog of Bill Gates, gatesnotes.com, you are probably aware of how very seriously he takes his reading. Not only does he post his list of favorites twice a year, Summer and Winter, including a video, but also, in between, he posts more extended reviews of individual books on the blog’s Books page.

This is a rich resource and I only wish I had more time to spend curled up on my sofa reading the books he recommends!
