Hotel June Pool
It may be seared into your brain that summertime means living is easy, but that doesn’t mean it also can’t be fun and busy. The Belvedere New Summer Menu
The Peninsula Beverly Hills restaurant launched an all-new brunch, lunch and dinner menu that captures fresh summer flavors while still paying homage to the history and romance of French cuisine. Menu highlights include lobster and caviar flatbread, ahi tuna nicoise salad, truffle risotto, broiled black bass filet, lemon ricotta pancakes and croque madame. Call 310.975.2736 for reservations.
The Broad Summer Happenings
Following the June 18 Now We’re Here performance event, special exhibitions This Is Not America’s Flag and Takashi Murakami: Stepping on the Tail of a Rainbow are running until Sept. 24. The exhibitions are part of the three-part Now We’re Here series, which lays the groundwork for artists to celebrate their own roles and identities in today’s artistic and sociopolitical landscape; the joys and struggles of self-defining “place,” citizenship and national identity, and the profoundly individual ways in which they arrived at this moment in their journeys.
The Green Room Master Class
On June 29, The Green Room will host its first educational event series of the year, Master Class: Art of Beverage. You’ll expand your mind while indulging in champagne and caviar, in addition to a host of other delicacies. The guided tasting will include four varietals from Champagne Lanson and creative presentations of award-winning caviar, including Royale Caviar and Oysters with truffle ponzu, crispy shallots and finger limes. What’s more, interactive elements throughout the evening give guests a chance to win gift cards and prizes. $65 per person/ Reservations
