Nestled on a quiet Hollywood street, the by-appointment store’s selections include the firm’s made-in-L.A. furniture line, vintage lamps and art pieces from L.A. gallery Sage Culture. IL BUCO VITA

What started as a pop-up shop at Platform LA has become a permanent design destination. Il Buco Vita carries a gorgeous selection of Italian ceramics, glassware, linens and other household items, all displayed in an inspiring setting with vibrant artwork by co-founder Antonello Radi throughout. LAWSON-FENNING

This sophisticated design store on Melrose features organic modern accessories, lustrous textiles and an in-house line of upholstered furniture. The brand collaborates with of-the-moment designers and offers custom-made pieces from its own line, all made in L.A. L.A. and Nashville-based interior designers Louisa Pierce and Emily Ward have been making waves for their bold projects—a recent one they did for actor Johnny Galecki and his wife was recently featured in Architectural Digest.
