More Art for L.A.
The post-Labor Day calendar looks exciting and it will start this weekend – September 9-10, 2017 – with the grand opening celebration for the new Institute of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (ICA LA). Located in the burgeoning Downtown Arts District, the 12,700-square-foot facility was designed by wHY Architecture to house the latest iteration of what was once the Santa Monica Museum of Art.
The weekend will be filled with talks, tours, performances, and workshops, plus three inaugural exhibits: Martín Ramírez: His Life in Pictures, Another Interpretation; Project Room: Abigail Deville; and Sarah Cain: Now I’m Going To Tell You Everything. See the complete schedule in the L.A. Weekly and learn more about ICA LA on the website and Facebook page.
