The New Whitney Museum Opening
Architect and Pritzker prize winner, Renzo Piano, designed the new Whitney Museum building with the collection in mind at its new location overlooking the Hudson River. The new space offers 50,000 square feet of indoor galleries, 13,000 square feet of outdoor exhibition space with terraces facing the High Line, and an additional 18,000 square feet of space for special exhibitions. A new identity for a fabulous museum!
