Where to Ice Skate in LA

THERE’S ONLY ONE TIME A YEAR WHEN IT IS ACCEPTABLE TO GO ICE SKATING IN 70-DEGREE WEATHER.

That time is now. The holidays are here and LA might not have all the same bells and whistles as your typical Winter wonderland, but that doesn’t mean we don’t get in the spirit! From skating on the beach to year-round rinks – bundle up and check out some festive ice skating rinks open in LA this season.

HOLIDAY ICE RINK PERSHING SQUARE

November 23 – January 1

The Holiday Ice Rink Pershing Square returns to downtown Los Angeles for the first time in two years this season. At 7,200 square feet, it is the city’s largest outdoor rink, offering visitors professional-quality ice for skating and entertainment. This year’s opening event features a live performance, special guests and more.

ICE AT SANTA MONICA

November 16 – January 16

After a two-year hiatus, the 8,000-square-foot rink will once again transform the corner of Fifth Street and Arizona Avenue into a winter wonderland and bring a little ice to the beachside community. The event includes free skating, a live DJ, delicious bites and freebies.

LA KINGS HOLIDAY ICE AT L.A. LIVE

November 26 – January 8

Skate your way into the holiday season. Bring your friends, plan your date night, or enjoy the ice rink before and after a game or concert! Skate around the dazzling Christmas tree that stands in the middle of the outdoor rink, and take in an LED holiday light show on the huge screens around the plaza.

This winter, enjoy outdoor skating with an ocean view on a synthetic ice rink at the

Ken Dyda Civic Center! Skaters can soak in the holiday spirit while gliding over a synthetic ice rink surrounded by palm trees and magnificent ocean views.

THE ICE RINK AT PASEA HOTEL AND SPA

November 25 – December 31

Skate and chill where the sand meets the snow. The 3rd annual Ice Rink at Paséa Hotel & Spa returns this year from November 25 – December 31 with oceanfront ice skating, reserved firepit experiences, theme nights, holiday cocktails and bites, group skate sessions, performances, and more holiday delights.

THE GRINCH’S HOLIDAY AT THE CUBE

December 10 – January 1

The Cube Santa Clarita invites families to participate this holiday season as they share the tale of the Grinch whose heart was “two sizes too small”. The fun begins on Saturday, December 10th with show times at 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm.
